Departure point = Hamlet of Riva di Vallarsa Arrival point = Rovereto Distance = 27.5 km Total altitude difference = 1148 m Maximum altitude = 1864 m   This is the last stage in the Leno Valley. With an exhilarating ride, it follows the entire crest of the Cherle, a subgroup of the Carega range that forms a substantial shoulder that descends to the Val Lagarina. From Riva, return to the hamlet of Obra and take the forest road that rises towards Loner (1173 m). Here you meet up with the SAT trail 117, where, in certain parts you must carry the bike due to the steepness (no thoroughfare with mountain bikes allowed on SAT trails). You then reach Passo Buole (1460 m), where an obelisk, a small church and a cemetery remind you of the courageous battles that made this place merit the name of "TERMOPILI d'ITALIA". Proceed along the "Sentiero della Pace" (also SAT trail 115) that passes the base of the Monte Selvata (1708 m) and the "EX FORTINO" (ca. 1750 m). From here you can climb to the summit of Monte Zugna at 1864 m. The military road then descends to the Rifugio Malga Zugna (1616 m), a refreshment point (nearby astronomic observatory), and then the road becomes tarmacked and windingly descends to Malga Tovo (1100 m), and then to the hamlet of Albaredo (702 m). Just before reaching the hamlet, a stop at the "FUNGO DI ALBAREDO" is worthwhile: it is a curious phenomenon caused by the meteoric erosion of the stratified calcareous rock. From the hamlet take the provincial road no. 89 which, after the hamlet of Porte di Trambileno (350 m), passes the "SACRARIO MILITARE" and the "CAMPANA DEI CADUTI", before reaching the town of Rovereto (191 m).
