| The
town of Rovereto (181 m), also called "Città delle
quercia" (city of the oak), is definitely worth a visit.
It is culturally very attractive and has a castle with the
"MUSEO STORICO ITALIANO DELLA GUERRA del Risorgimento"
(Italian Risorgimento war museum), the "SACRARIO MILITARE
DI CASTEL DANTE", the "MUSEO DI ARTE MODERNA"
(modern art museum) with the "CASA MUSEO DEPERO",
illustrious futurist and the "MUSEO CIVICO"
(civic museum). From here, the last stage of the tour, a gentle
return to Trento, begins. You follow, in fact, the cycle path
that coasts the left bank of the River Adige through orchards
and vineyards. The route brushes past Villa Lagarina (180
m), Nomi (179 m) and Besenello (218 m). A diversion is possible
to visit "CASTEL BESENO". The final part
leads to Mattarello (197 m) and then back to Trento. |
